Meet The Artist
Hi! I'm Brenda Parker, the designer and creator of BrendaBears™. I was drawn into the wonderful world of bear making in 1993. I have always had a love for sewing and all things creative. For me, what began as a craft business quickly turned into an adventure in the teddy bear industry. While still marketing my crafts, I had purchased a teddy bear pattern and made a few just for fun.
That was all it took...I was hooked!
Working with a commercial pattern sparked the desire to create my own unique design of teddy bears and the rest is history. These creations are my passion. I love to watch them come to life and bring on a personality all their own. It is a truly rewarding experience and I am blessed. I sincerely hope that my teddy bears bring collectors the same joy I experience in creating them.

About The Bears
Each of my bears is lovingly designed and made entirely by me from start to finish. Because they are handmade one at a time, each bear is born with its own personality. No two are exactly alike. I use both machine and hand-stitching in the making of my bears. I strive for perfection in all my creations and use only the finest quality materials.
• Furs German or English mohair | alpaca | Tissavel | plush synthetic | viscose • Pawpads Ultrasuede | leather | wool felt • Eyes Premium German glass • Joints Fully jointed (unless otherwise stated) with disc joints • Armature Wire | Loc-line® | Flex Limb • Hand-embroidered noses Pearle cotton | silk or cotton floss • Stuffing Polyester fiberfill | plastic pellets | glass beads | steel shot • Other Subtle hand-shading | needle & scissor sculpting The bears which become available for adoption are "One-of-a-Kind" creations. However, I may offer small limited editions or open editions on occasion.
To ensure authenticity, each bear wears a sewn-in tush tag and comes with an attached hang tag which states the bear's name, birthdate, and it's number...when relevant. These hang tags are signed by me, the artist. Please remember...my bears are not toys. They are adult collectibles and NOT suitable for children.
