'Twas the night before Christmas and Santa Claus is on his way. Kenzie is bursting with excitement! She can hardly wait for him to arrive as she snuggles up in her favorite red fleece blanket. Like every good boy and girl, she set out a plate filled with Christmas cookies along with a mug of hot cocoa topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, and drizzled with delicious chocolate syrup. She knows Santa will be hungry for a snack when he comes down the chimney with his bag full of toys.
Simply adorable! This precious girl bear gave me so much joy to create as I watched her sweet personality emerge. Kenzie was crafted from plush synthetic in a champagne color. She measures 17 inches from the top of her head to the bottoms of her feet. When seated she measures just 11 inches high to the top of her ears.
Kenzie is featured on the cover of the December issue of Teddy Bear Times & Friends. She is also shown on a full page within the magazine.

Kenzie wears a lovely Christmas themed bow at her ear which I fashioned for her using red satin ribbon. I added a sprig of greenery together with red berries and pinecones and topped it off with tiny candy canes.
I added subtle shading to her needle and scissor sculpted face as well as her inner ears. She sees the world through premium German glass eyes which I hand painted in a beautiful shade of green with luminous gold sparkles to catch the light. Her big beautiful eyes are set atop a white eye base.
Kenzie has bent arms and straight legs. Her arms have wire armature so she can hold soft poses. Her front and rear paw pads are applique trapunto-sculpted in bisque colored lightweight ultrasuede and lightly shaded.
She is 5-way disc and locknut jointed and filled with a combination of polyfill and pellets for a nice weighted feel. Her nose is hand-embroidered using perle cotton in a dark brown color.
Kenzie is a one-of-a-kind BrendaBears™ creation. She will come with a sewn-in tush tag, an attached signed ultrasuede tag bearing her birthdate, and a signed hang tag as proof of authenticity. This is a collectible bear and not suitable for children.
